  • Top Clydesdale at Age Group Regional Championship
  • Multiple Ironman Florida 70.3 & Augusta 70.3 finishes.
  • Completed in over 40 triathlons without a DNF
  • USAT Certified Coach since 2009.
  • Personally coached top  age groupers at the Ironman, Half Ironman, & Olympic distances.
Personally completed numerous Sprint, Olympic, and Half Ironman distances and as well as many Century rides.  "I decided to go into coaching as a way to give back to the sport that I have grown so fondly of...triathlons have changed my life through the many inherent challenges it presents."  I believe that winning is not the most important aspect of the sport, but rather just competing and knowing that as an athlete I gave everything I had to accomplish that.  Success in triathlons is not always measured by winning, as there is only one winner in each event; rather all of the obstacles overcame in getting to the finish line.  The journey does not start when the announcer calls for the start, but rather the day you first start training for your first triathlon.

You will find that I use the most current techniques and sport advances in my approach to training and coaching so that you can realize you triathlon goals.  My philosophy is based on time efficient training so that you can manage the daily balance of life and training.

Pedestrian coaches are called instructors , top coaches work as much on your head as they do the physical shape you are in. It the body is strong but your head is in the wrong place the finish line will seem further away and you let self doubt say " I can't" As someone once remarked, success comes in cans not can'ts.
